Changing the Font Size on QuoteWerks Document Items grid

Individual users can change the font and font size used to display information on the DocumentItems tab by editing the {username}.ini file QuoteSheetFontName and QuoteSheetFontSize keys under the [Preferences] section.

By default, QuoteWerks uses a 12-point font to display information on the Document Items grid. If users would like this larger (or smaller), then you can follow these steps:

  • Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the QuoteWerks file directory on your PC or server
  • Open the {username}.ini file in Notepad (or similar text editor)
  • Look for the QuoteSheetFontSize key underneath the [Preferences] section (this may or may not exist, if it does not exist then create it)
  • Set the QuoteSheetFontName=X where X is the name of the font that you would like to use
  • Set the QuoteSheetFontSize=Y where Y is a numeric value
  • Save and close the {username}.ini file
  • (Re)Start QuoteWerks for the change to take effect

On completion, the {username}.ini will look something like the following (note that the elipses are to represent other ini file keys, the elipses should not be placed in the actual ini file):

[Preferences]
QuoteSheetFontName=Arial
QuoteSheetFontSize=14
