Our Environmental Policy
Wherever practical, Hilltops IT sources products from sustainable sources and ensures recycled products
are used. We continually monitor our environmental performance and are constantly looking for ways to
improve and increase our green practices. We keep up to date with all of the latest environmental
issues and support several charitable organisations that focus on finding solutions to environmental problems.
Planning and talking about making a difference to the environment is one thing, actually delivering upon
it while conducting our normal day to day business is more challenging. Throughout Hilltops IT we have
changed the way we work to improve our environmental performance.
Practical and immediate demonstrations of the results of these reviews include:
- Promoting a paperless office environment
- Storing documents electronically
- Where printing is necessary, using multiple sides per page and double-sided printing
- Using recycled or recyclable materials, wherever possible
- Sourcing other materials and paper from renewable resources
- Ensuring all electronic equipment and lights are switched off when not in use
- Monitoring and reducing packaging waste and energy consumption
