QuoteWerks v4.5 build 5 has been released and contains 7 new and 2 miscellaneous features, plus 11 bug fixes. Full details of the release are available on the QuoteWerks Update Center website.
QuoteWerks New Features
This isn’t a huge release, but it does tidy up one or two things and offers some minor additions to the array of new functionality QuoteWerks added in build 4 just a few weeks ago. In summary, the main changes are as follows:
1) PDF File Feature changes:
a) Multiple PDF files can now be merged into a single PDF file for emailing whereas previously PDF files would be attached individually (see QuoteWerks Tools menu | My Preferences | ‘Merge PDF files’ option).
b) On the QuoteWerks Links tab, multiple PDF files can be selected and merged using the right click | Merge PDF files menu option. This will combine the selected PDF files into a single PDF file and will create a file link to the combined single PDF file on the Links tab.
c) On the QuoteWerks Print Preview window, when saving the preview as a PDF file, any PDF file attachments will be merged into the resulting PDF file as long as the user option of ‘Merge PDF files’ is set.
2) For ConnectWise users:
a) There’s a new Unlink button on the Create/Update Opportunity window in case the user accidentally attaches a quote to the wrong opportunity.
b) When selecting a contact to use in the quote, if the contact record has multiple sites associated with it, the user can choose the particular site they would want to use.
